Exercise Street
Exercise and Play Streets is a Council scheme developed in response to Covid-19. It is run by volunteers organised through H.O.M.E RA and advertised by posters and flyers. As it is a community based outdoor activity and weather dependent, we have received permission to run these events on Saturdays or Sundays, allowing some flexibility on the timing.
On four weekends in June/July 2020 in the car free open road, the events have seen neighbours and friends having fun. Sitting, chatting and watching. Cycling, scootering, skipping, playing hopscotch and kicking the pebble with your hopping foot. The band was brilliant keeping everyone entertained.
The next proposed event is the Havelock Road Play Street which has now been postponed.

The Addiscombe Triangle
With money donated by our Ward Councillors, over the last couple of years members of the H.O.M.E committee have planted three ornamental fruit trees and many bulbs for the community to enjoy.
Volunteers are needed to help water the trees in dry weather and care for the upkeep of the Triangle. If you can assist with this please contact Carol at c21porter@gmail.com.

We had our first every Quiz Night on Friday 15th November 2019 at the Builders Arms. A very good turnout.
