Addiscombe East Safer Neighbourhood Ward Panel

Attended by Melanie. This panel meets quarterly to discuss the concerns facing the local community around crime and anti-social behaviour, and sets the priorities the local police team will tackle. They also get involved in working with the police team and local partner agencies such as the council to find lasting solutions to these priorities.
This was the first meeting of the Addiscombe East SNT Ward Panel. The meeting was more informal than usual and the intention was for us to get to know the SNT team and to meet our councillors who were both there. Our SNT team has been severly under resourced over the past few month, but this issue is expected to be resolved in October 2018. The new contact details for the team will be shared and distrbuted in due course.

I attended this meeting as a guest so that I could see how this panel operates and how they are preparing for the transition. I will be attending the next meeting in July 2018
